For many years Gillian Dunlop entered art exhibitions and accepted commissions via her agent Barbara Higgins. Her work was hung in the Archibald (2004), Blake and Portia Geach Prize exhibitions as well as the Salon des Refuses (People’s Choice Award, 2006).

She still accepts commissions but now rarely has time to submit work for exhibition. Her main focus is to become the best possible painter she can be.
